How Telani was born
The Telani journey began with a group of healthcare professionals in San Francisco who were exhausted from endless patient messages, missed follow-ups, and the constant fear of HIPAA violations. They spent their days providing exceptional care but their nights drowning in administrative chaos.
The bigger their practices grew, the more they realized how much time they were wasting on repetitive communication tasks and that they needed a software system designed specifically for healthcare teams—not just another secure chat app. In 2023, after extensive research, they found nothing that perfectly addressed the unique needs of clinical communication.
Out of sheer frustration and a desire to help fellow providers, they decided to build their own solution. Today, Telani is one of the emerging leaders in healthcare communication platforms with thousands of providers who use and trust our calm approach.
